Over 4000 Handball Fans Worldwide decided that the World’s Best Female Handball Player in 2011 is Norwegian line player, Heidi Loke (29). One of the most charismatic girl in our “Handball World” has fantastic Year behind. Loke finished her “domestic career” in Larvik (2008-2011) with the biggest possible title – EHF Champions League 2010/2011 (she was the EHF CL Top scorer) and continue to work with Hungarian Gyori in the same direction this season.
The biggest achievement, however, for Loke is all the success with Norwegian National Team. After EHF EURO 2010, Norway won WCh 2011, where Loke was one of the most important part of the squad – voted for the Best Playmaker in “All Stars” Team, once again.
Army of her Fans all around Europe respect that. They gave her a Award with over 70% of all votes. Precisely, 70,81% Handball Fans in our Poll voted for Heidi Loke, which makes decision absolute and convincing.
The second place won the French star, Allison Pineau with the support 15,80% of voters.
In the opinion of our Jury, seven players (seven positions) deserved to be voted for the World’s Best Female Player in 2011. They were fantastic and our nomination just confirms that. Handball media, teams and fans all over the Globe show tremendeous interest for the Contest in organisation of Handball-Planet.com . Very interesting week is ahead of our Team.
